Good morning, I should choose the b550m motherboard for the ryzen 5 5600g.
The budget is limited on 80/95$ and I would need an m-atx.
The build is completed with some 16gb g.skillz aegis 3200mhz cl16 ram.
For now I'm undecided between MSI B550m pro-vdh (among the many models msi of this range is the only one with the flash of the bios without cpu) and Gigabyte B550m DS3h.
Do you have any advice?
Thanks

Solution
Besides the BIOS feature, they are all very similar but they might differ on some features...you will decide if you need them.
Examples:
  • Gigabyte B550m DS3h supports up to 128GB RAM but ASRock B550M -HDV and MSI MSI B550M PRO-VDH support up to 64GB RAM.
  • Gigabyte B550m DS3h and MSI MSI B550M PRO-VDH support RGB and ASRock B550M -HDV does not have RGB header.
  • Gigabyte B550m DS3h and MSI MSI B550M PRO-VDH have 8-pin 12V CPU Power Connector but ASRock B550M -HDV has a 4-pin 12V CPU Power Connector, which could limit the board from high end CPUs.

MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI if you want the BIOS Flashback feature.

ASRock B550M PRO4

Thanks for the reply, so there are no major differences between the two mobo's, right?
Because leaving aside the falsh of the bios, msi there are really many models in that price range (4 if I'm not mistaken) without any particular difference and I was wondering why.
There is also an asrock model, the b550m-hdv, so between the msi, gigabyte and this asrock, what are the differences (except for the convenient bios flash)? Sorry for the questions but I'm not familiar with mobos
