I would think so, but you don't have to get a Z370 for a locked i3. You will be limited to DDR4-2666 without a Z series board though.

*Not sure if you could go mATX, or if you wanted to keep ATX mobo. Go ATX if you can even though I put the mATX in the list because it's cheaper.
