Question Best MoBo for i7-3770K

Hi there,

I am looking to upgrade my mother board, as I would like to be able to make it evolve in the future, particulary being able to go to am better ventirad (or watercooling) and an M2

I've been struggling to find good motherboard review for a 3rd gen intel. The one I've been finding are all for 8th or 9th gen.

Currently I run :

• i7 3770K
• 16 Go DDR3 @798MHz
• MSI Z77A-G43

Since I don't have much budget, I'd like to be able to keep the processor and the RAM... What do you think my best options are ?

You can't get a higher end board than the Z77 chipset. In fact, your platform is a dead end when it comes to upgrades, apart from the rams and the GPU(though limited in nature of upgrades).

Hmm so you're saying I'd better upgrade both motherboard + CPU + cooling system at once ?
And then proceed to change RAM and HDD ?
