best modem for comcast

i don't want to pay monthly for comcast modem, so what's out there that i can purchase that is compatable with comcast?

I quite like the Motorola SB6141. I used it for about a month before switching to the default Virgin Media one and an Asus RT-AC68U. I don't know if it will be compatible with Comcast but I presume it will as they use cable.
