Best modem for Internet only

Hi, I need to buy a modem for my house by tomorrow which is when the installation guys come in and I want to know what the best modem would be for Comcasts Performance with Blast! service. I don't have cable or anything else, just internet so I want to know if that makes a difference in which modem I should buy and which one will give me the best bang for my buck!

If you don't want to use their modem, the Motoroloa SURFboard DOCSIS 3 modems are good and pretty much a standard. Likely it's the one that Comcast will get you.

Keep in mind that if you use your own modem if you have issues with he service you will be responsible for replacing it, even to troubleshoot something.
