Best monitor for Asus GTX 970?

What is the difference between 60 Hz and 144 Hz? Will I see much difference between them?

60Hz can only display 60FPS while 144hz can display up to 144FPS. Same with 120Hz (120 FPS). Basically, the pictures will be displayed much quicker and your experience in games would be greatly improved. If you don't want a 120hz-144hz monitor, that's fine you could go for a 1440p, I'l check for a good one

This is a good 1440P option, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236294 but a bit pricey, what's your budget? The monitor I currently use is ASUS VN248H-P. I actually got it for $135 on Black Friday.
