Best Monitor for my Custom gaming PC

Hello guys,

I am in the process of building this computer and I am, not sure what type of monitor to get. I know that BenQ, Asus, and Acer make the best. I also do not know if I should go with a 24" or 27". Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Motherboard: Asus X99-A/USB 3.1 ATX DDR4 3300
Graphics: EVGA GeForce gtx 980ti 6Gb
Power: EVGA Supernova 1050 GS 80
Cooling: Corsair hydro series H100i v2
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 1 TB 2.5 inch SATA III
HDD: Toshiba p300 3TB 3.5 SATA
Memory: Corsair Vengance LPX 16GB (4x4GB)
Operating system: Windows 10 Hime 64bit
Optical drive: Samsung 24x SATA DVD
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe PH(white)

First if you have not already bought the 980ti, you might consider waiting a week for the 1080. Second, as far as monitors go, really depends on your budget. Best would be a 1440p 144hz 27" Gsync monitor, but no idea if it fits your budget.

How much will the 1080 be? And my budget is between $600-$700.

1080 will be like $50 more than a 980ti is right now, maybe less. Should be around 650 for good models in the US.
As far as monitor goes I would go for the ASUS ROG PG279Q. If it's too much then the Acer Predator XB270HU.
