Best monitor for under £300

Hey pimps,

Im looking for a slick gaming monitor for under £300 for my gaming PC. Im not really interested in ultrawide or curved but I would like it to be 26" or bigger and really good quality

My PC has an i5 - 8600k processor and a MSI GTX 1070 gaming X graphics card

So far ive had my eye on either the Samsung U28E590D and the Lenovo L27Q but if you guys have something better to throw my way please do

'slick gaming' - meaning higher fps?

Both the monitors you suggest are 60hz. You could consider a 75hz monitor at 27" such as the Asus PB277Q - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/7TrcCJ/asus-pb277q-270-75hz-monitor-pb277q

It might lift the quality of some gaming, assuming you're getting better than 60fps.

I omitted that suggestion as it's 1920 x 1080 on a 27" monitor, which wouldn't be as crisp as 1440p a resolution.

I am running a dell 27 inch 1080p 75hz IPS, really enjoyed. To me, 1080p 144hz is better than 1440p 60 hz gaming with 1070.
