Hi. I'm looking for the best 27" under $300.
I just built a new set up which I'll have working when I pick up a new NIC since the built in killer crap is basically a scam.
I don't know too much about displays. I'm a gamer but I also want to get my feet wet into video editing/digital art. But mostly I'm a gamer. Never been a graphics whore but now I have the set up that I can be if I choose.
The rig is fairly high end:
-4770k (will overclock once internet is fixed, don't know if the chip is a good one or not yet so can't say frequency)
-GTX 780
-16 gigs in dual channel
-SSD for boot and main apps if it matters
I know a lot of monitors come down to preference, but I really have no idea. It's also frustrating seeing 4 different LG 27" monitors within 10 dollars of each other and not being able to figure out what the difference is.
Current monitor:
Don't remember model name but it's an ASUS 25.5" with a resolution of 1920x1200. I'm having some color issues so it'll be a good secondary.
Again, my budget is under 300$. Thank you for reading and I appreciate any advice anyone has for a display scrub like me.
