So as the title suggests I am in search for a monitor.
Must include:
DisplayPort(DP) port
Around 24" (can be below, currently using a 15.6" laptop)
IPS or TN - Really doesn't bother me, to be honest I'm edging toward TN for the higher refresh rates.
Res. 1920 x 1080
Price: £130

Thanks!

Ok, but that price range is more of a sweet-spot.

A 150 dollar monitor isn't as feature packed and built as well as the VG248QE. I would save your money, and go for it later on. It meets nearly all of your criteria, and it is 144hz. It is the cheapest 144hz monitor there is, and is very good quality and style. One of Asus' best, and they generally make pretty solid monitors.

I've heard some bad things about those unknown Korean brands.

I use the Asus VG248QE. It is TN, but honestly, it isn't as bad as people say it is. Unless you "need" a professionally calibrated monitor, TN really is pretty decent. This one supports 144hz, and has 1ms response time, so ghosting is non-existent. It fits somewhat into your price bracket, but a bit higher.

Look here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-VG248QE-24-inch-LED-Monitor/dp/B00B19T7QC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417993522&sr=8-1&keywords=vg248qe

It's a great monitor, and has tonnes of features, for a good price.

The problem here, is that the Amazon UK price isn't converted at all, so it seems very expensive. If you want it, I would contact amazon to see if they could charge you 160 or so for it, which is equivalent to the US Amazon price.

Would you be able to buy it from the US Amazon? It is far more affordable. The UK price isn't converted, it's ridiculous. It is on a 1:1 scale, which obviously does not work.
