I have some questions about the best monitor setup for programmers. I'm planning on buying some systems for our office (I have a tech business) and I need to know what kind of monitor setup would be best for a software developer.

1. Dual Monitors (One for the IDE and another for a web browser or something like that)
2. 1 very large/ultrawide monitor (To make sure things don't get too cluttered)
3. A portrait monitor (maybe like this) used to view long code and also a normal monitor

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I personally like to have a monitor on a portrait orientation and another on a landscape orientation. So for me monitors which can rotate freely from one orientation to the other are the best (the dell ultrasharp monitors are like that).
That 1920x1920 monitor also looks interesting, but I have never used one so I can't say much about it.

I'll definitely take a look at the Dell UltraSharp. A portrait and landscape monitor sound like a good idea... I might do that.
