Best monitor type in order to read & write something?

Hello,
I'm looking a monitor for reading or writing something. I occasionally play games, so I don't look for a gaming monitor.
I stay close to the monitor (around 8 hours on a day) and always read & write something. And I also wonder is monitors refresh rate matters for read & write something.
What I'm looking for;
*It should be 27"
*Its resolution should be 2k
*My budget is around $550
*And (of course) it should be eye friendly

With your criteria your could go a bit cheaper. Your average 60hz/5ms is fine.

Something like a Dell U2717D or BenQ GW2765HT would be a good fit.

i have the benq gw2765 mentioned

pretty decent monitor havent had any problems with it at all
