best monitor

what is the best monitor good for gaming, movies etc.?
I'm thinking in one of those: Samsung 172x 12ms and Viewsonic vp171

I've got the Viewsonic vp171b and I think it's pretty good. Most colors are crisp and clear and I haven't noticed any afterglow. The only cons I've found is that it's a bit too bright sometimes and I'm experiencing some problems when I'm viewing a movie in fullscreen (in bs, this might also be because of my graphic cards though.)
