Hi, I will buy a new PC next week and I need to know the best motherboard for core i5 4690. I do not want to overclock it. I have a ATI Radeon 7950 already and I do not want to do a Crossfire, so 1 PCI is good to me.

What is your budget? If you have $100, I would get the Gigabyte H97-HD3. That uses Intel's brand new chipset, H97, which will run Intel's upcoming Broadwell CPUs. If you can afford that, it is nice for the future proofing.

I would get the Gigabyte Z97-HD3. It is a well rated motherboard from a great manufacturer, all with Intel's new chipset.
