Best motherboard for i5-3570k

hello everyone I'm building a new PC and have decided to get the i5-3570k over i5-2500k. Could anyone recommend a motherboard please? and would I get the best performance by getting a intel board? thank you everyone in advance!

at micro center they have this awesome deal going on right now buy the cpu and get 50 bucks off of the mobo. they have this board on sale for 59.99 so it would knock it down to 10 bucks but i dont know if i should stick with a intel mobo.

yes, matx is np because i wont ever use any other slot but the video card slot.

But there is a limited OC with that board, just make sure u know that : )

im not going to settle for the gigabyte board just yet, not without doing lots of research first but i don't plan on OC at all.

800-1000, and really the only thing i plan on doing is playing WoW. that will most likely be the most intense thing this new computer will ever have to process.

Small mobos like this one will run hotter than standard ATX.

U must have a good cooling.

And how much $$$ is just for the mobo?

i didn't know that about the cooling, ok ill get a regular atx board. im going to look at all the boards you linked and as for a budget maybe about 150-200. i think that should get me a good board.

Especially your IB CPU gets hot!

That P8Z77-V PRO would be my choice. And u can OC a lot, it is easy with your CPU.

Intel's mobos are good quality, will last long time. But they are stripped of the features and are not good overclockers like others are.

I am saying when u compare Intel mobos and others, Intel lacks the features that others have for the same price.

@Skullwarrior....If you're not going to overclock your i5-3570k, then why are you buying the "k" model? You can buy cheaper i5's. Also, if you don't overclock your CPU then you can get by on a cheaper motherboard (in the range of $110).

I wouldn't recommend a mATX board, cuz of heat. Buy a regular ATX and you'll be happy.
