Best Motherboard for i5 4690 (No OC, No multiple GPU)

Hi,

Planning to buy the said processor and I'm looking for a not so expensive motherboard, hopefully less than 150$.

I'm not planning to OC nor use multiple GPU. I'm planning to use it for mid-gaming rig (gtx 960/970).

Just want to get an efficient board one for my processor & gpu. Thanks!

Not really sure about the difference on chipsets, but a little education is also very appreciated.

Check out this Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H , it dosent support sli or overclocking but you can get it for 60$, i used it for a rig i built recently.

So you need a B85 or H97 motherboard. H97 is slightly better, more SATA ports, more USBs and can do RAID. If you don't need any of these features, go for a B85. The one jolly suggested is good, however your local pricing might differ so just go for a B85/H97 from a known brand which is cheaper (ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock).
