You can get some pretty nice boards with that budget - MSI Z97 Gaming 3 or even the 5, Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3, 5, UD3H or UD3H-BK.

Yes the Asrock Extreme 4 is a solid board , nice choice.

I would go MSI Z97 GAMING 5,more feature than Z87 Extreme4,and nice looking with MSI GTX970.

but i read that the msi motherboard dont have good quality, broke very easely
