Best motherboard for i7 4790

My PC:
core i7 4790
8 GB ram
1 TB HDD
GTX 1070 graphic card

I need a new motherboard (the old one is broken)
I have the following options (all at the same price) :

Asus Z97 pro gamer
H81 Plus
H97 Performance
H97 pro 4
Z97 A

Which one among these is the best and why

Any H97 or Z97 that has the features and sockets you want. They will perform the same as you don’t have an unlocked cpu.

The H81 will only work if it has a later BIOS installed, if it doesn’t you will need to find a compatible cpu to do the update before the 4790 will work.

H97 was recommended in the day for 4790 non k since it couldn't be overclocked so spending extra on a Z board was pointless.

Since all are same price, get either of the two z97 boards (flip a coin) only because of better mosfets / higher quality board since they're designed to overclock. That would be the only reason id go for one instead of a H97 but even then thats to extremes. But they're same price so why not.

Only dilemma is how z97 boards were treated knowing overclocking commonly occurs on these boards. But all might be well just don't know until you push the on button.

H97 (any H97 chipset based boards) for your 4790, least you know everything has been on auto for the most part.

I noticed the "h97 percormance" has usb 3.1 gen 1.
Would that make it a better deal? And if I buy z97 would I be able to buy a PCIE USB 3.1 card or it won't work?
