So I want to go with Ryzen 5 3600 and the question is which MB to buy? First thing that I need to know is what chipset B450, X470 or X570. I need a decent VRM performance because I will overclock, and I don't really wanna go above 170ish $.

Unless you need pcie4 then get a good oc x470 in your price range. What is your region?

Also you may have to flash the BIOS to support the new AMD Ryzen unless you go with the 570

Or even go with a B450. 3600's are not power hungry by any means so you can overclock one with no issues even on low-end B350 boards. 2nd gen. AM4 boards (at least) are recommended though, mainly because they were generally improved over 1st gen (X370/B350) for memory compatibility and overclocking.

For either X470 or B450 be sure to look for 'Ryzen 3000 Ready' so you know the BIOS has been updated. But do temper your overclocking expectations for all Ry3k processors unless your plans include sub-ambient cooling with LN2. In which case top-tier X470 and X570 boards are going to be the only choices worth considering for their feature sets (dual switched BIOS, POST code displays, board mounted controls, etc.) and extreme over-kill VRM designs.

Do you know any b450 or x470 board with good VRM?

For a 3600(X) really most any B450 or X470 because it isn't a power-hungry beast.

But for 'better' VRM's: MSI B450 Tomahawk and B450M Mortar... if you're in the EU or Australia you might could find the MAX variants of them which have BIOS optimized for Ryzen 3000. If in the US good luck finding a Mortar in any variant.

There is also Asrock's B450(M) Steel Legend and B450(M) Pro 4 and Asus B450 TUF Pro Gaming (not the Plus). Avoid anything Gigabyte B450.

Be sure to look for boards that have been BIOS upgraded to be 'Ryzen 3000 Ready'.
