Best motherboard for the hadron air?

I'm in the process of choosing which parts to use for a hadron build. Still haven't been able to decide which motherboard to use.

This is my list so far:

i7 4790k
W7000 firepro
hyperX 1600mhz 16GB
Samsung EVO 500gb SSD + addition 4TB HDD if possible.

I'm stuck on deciding the best motherboard I can get for this system. I'm on the verge of buying the ASUS Z97i-plus, however I'm interested in the Z97 stinger from EVGA. I need some sort of comparison between these two cards. I can't seem to find much information on the Z97 stinger which speaks to me in simple English.

I don't really know what to look for as this is my first build, but the board needs to be compatible with my other components stated above, and also I need the best I can get for use as a workstation primarily, but also gaming. It would also be great if it has good sound on board, and wifi. I don't think the stinger has wifi, but maybe it's not expensive to add it to the system?

Now leaning even more towards the Z97i-plus. Can anyone deter me?

Wish I could get the maximus impact vii, but I'm not sure when that will be available, or if it will be too expensive.
