I was planning on buying a x570 board but since im not gonna use the pcie4.0 technology i think i should go with a b450 board instead.
Specs:
Ryzen 7 3700x
Gtx 1080Ti
16 gb ram 3200Mhz

One question tho, will i be able to run a 2x8 gb kit 3200Mhz ram on a b450 tomahawk max for example? No oc, no xmp, no anything :p. Also whats a high quality b450 mb?

Solution
MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX is one of the best B450 out of the box ryzen 3000 compatible motherboards you can buy right now. Also there is no way you can run a 3200Mhz kit without enable XMP profile or manually oc , stock speeds for the most ram kits is 2133Mhz.

Hey, i just looked at my friends ram kit and its a hyperX XMP kit so i guess thats that. I dont want to use xmp, so should i get the x570 board instead?

Ryzen 7 3700x stock ram clock speed is 3200mhz.
The problem is - SPD table in your particular ram modules may contain this frequency as XMP entry instead of standard JEDEC entry.
Then - without activating XMP, it will not get used. But cpu supports it and ram supports it too.

So do you think i should go with the tomahawk and get xmp ram?

I just want stock speeds idk, i read somewhere that it causes problems with ryzen cpu's.
Ryzen requires high speed ram where is the problem? Sometimes my bios reset without a reason and my ram goes from 3600Mhz to 2133Mhz stock speed and i always know it because i get really low fps in games. Getting either the most expensive X570 or the cheapest B450 you will have to enable XMP anyway. Leaving the ram at stock speed (2133Mhz) you will just lose the most of the CPU performance.

So you are saying that i cant get ram that will run at 3200mhz without messing with the bios? If that's so i'll go with the tomahawk max.
