I am planning to setup a desktop for deep learning, starting with 2 NVIDIA rtx 2080ti and extend to four at a later point in time. As I need 36+ PCIe lanes and 64GB+ DDR4 Ram, I wonder which motherboard is suitable?
2080 Ti does not support 3-way and 4-way SLI. How will you bridge four 2080 Ti's ? There is none available from Nvidia. Or were you talking about Directx12 Multi-GPU? That's different then.
Depends which route you are taking, Intel X299 or Threadripper X399???...Both these platforms can provide sufficient PCIe lane with the Threadripper having more available...
