Best multi-channel music production/entertainment sound card for under $200?

I need a sound card capable of multiple channels of audio, so that I can connect multiple gear into/out of it. It should have high quality audio. I want to produce some electronic music with it.

I also need the same card to be capable of everyday entertainment use, like music, movies, and directx games too.

Is the M-Audio Delta 1010 still good and modern for this?

Midi in/out is a big plus.

Can somebody please give me a few suggestions for cards? Thanks.
