I have a modem in my house running an ethernet cable to my belkin N600 router(router 1). From that router I have a roku hard wired into the router and a wifi signal which works well for the house. I also have an ethernet cable ran from that same router 100ft out to my detached garage where its connected into another belkin N600 router(router 2) set up as an access point. Router #2 has a roku, PS3 hard wired to it and my PC connects via wifi signal. Lately I have noticed that my PC has been extremely slow with internet browsing and youtube videos buffering constantly. My PC is literally 10 ft away from the router and I havent noticed any lag on my roku or PS3 so I'm assuming the wifi signal is the problem. I was thinking of installing a switch in the garage for all of my wired devices and buying a new router to broadcast wifi signals as an access point. Does this sound like the best setup for my situation? Thanks in advance.

Doesn't router2 have one more ethernet port available (it should)? You could connect your PC without any additionally hardware. BUT gigabit switches are cheap and adding one in the garage won't hurt anything. Keep the access point (router2) for cell phones etc, just connect a switch to the incoming ethernet first.
