I wouldn't have put the R7 2700X as the best because an overclocked R7 2700 will do just as well and the R7 2700X really doesn't overclock much beyond an overclocker R7 2700. If you don't plan to overclock I see their point, but considering the price difference I could use that difference for an AIO cooler and still have extra money left over for other small things

I had a 4790 processor and a gtx 1070 in sli and done very well but I ended up getting a new mobo , graphic cards & processor and it's a 6700 k but performance wise a 4790 just as good as the 6700 k and looked up camparisants to the 6700 k to the latest cpu , the only difference is the 9900 & 8700 is the cores which the 4790 k , the 6700 k has 6 cores which the 8700 and the 9900 has 8 cores are good for multi tasking
