I have Palit Nvdia GeForce GT 610 2Gb ddr3, and dont know what is the best Nvdia driver that will dramatically increase the performance. Other than the latest driver in NVDIA, because latest drivers are only focus on the latest games and gpu. I want a driver that will fit on my gpu, and increase fps in some games, especially NBA 2k14 and tomb raider 2013.
Because I have an old 2008 9500gt and got 35-50 fps in gameplay with high settings,
but on better gpu gf gt 610 i got only 11-29 fps.
So can someone help me choose what is the best driver for gt 610?
Thanks.

Actually 9500 GT is better than GT 610. higher texture fillrate and bandwidth

drivers slightly improves performance, but with very low end gpus, theres not much performance to squeeze out of it.

using newer drivers makes the video card more compatible with newer games. (bug fixes, black screens)

I was beaten by razvan_mz 😛 The 610 isn't really an upgrade, as was said. I would not expect to magically get more FPS with new drivers. The 610 is simply not a gaming card; it is meant to replace integrated graphics on computers without them so that the desktop can display.
