Question Best NVIDIA Drivers for gaming

Hi, can any Pc Expert guide me on my issue
my pc is stuttering and massive fps drop after updating Nvidia driver as it was not intended in the first place.

My Pc Specs as follows:
MOBO H81M-D
GPU Galax GTX1060 6gb
CPU i7-4790
RAM 12gb DDR3

My fps in monster hunter world at cap 35fps in low resolution

Shadow or Tomb Raider capped at 20fps at lowest resolution.

Tried uninstalling drivers, the game, power option to high performance, Nvidia 3D to Performance.

I was wondering which version of Nvidia driver for maximum FPS rate for gaming.

In general I would say the latest driver. Did you pick Perform Clean Install in the Custom Install?

Yes I did use DDU remove old version nvidia driver and installed the latest 442.50. However, ntg changes. Im not sure where I did wrong. CPU usage is rougly around 100% when I launched any games. with any other known program in the background except steam and google with single tab

I would be curious to know what is pegging CPU usage at 100%, is that the entire time you're in game? Have you tried narrowing down what process is using most of the CPU time?
