What's a decent monitor? I need to upgrade from my old 60hz monitor since my new card ( rtx 2080 )seems to be horrible on it. Tears and stutters all around. I looked at the "ViewSonic XG2560 25 inch 1080p 240Hz 1ms Gsync Gaming Monitor with Eye Care Advanced Ergonomics HDMI and DP for eSport" but I see a lot of people complaining about dead pixels.

Help me out?

What's your budget?
What will you be using it for?

The viewsonic looks pretty solid, and the XG2401 144hz version for $250 seems like a great deal all-around if you don't require the GSync. But your question is about a monitor that works with Nvidia, so the XG2560 might be more up your alley.

I just ordered an ASUS ROG Swift PG278QR 27” 2560x1440 1ms 165Hz
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N4ENDXR/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm looking forward to trying out the GSync (got a GTX 1070Ti) and think the refresh rate will be plenty.

I should be getting it tomorrow and can let you know what I think!
