Best of Ram With Good Amount?

You don't choose the RAM (or any other part) in isolation.
It's all part of a system.

So, what is the budget for this system?

I know that it depends on the on the processor and the motherboard, but I want recommendations of all. Whatever is best. $1500

I have a sort of off-topic question... What is the difference between the SSD and the internal hard drive? People go crazy over a 250gb samsung that is $100 when you can get a barracuda for $40. I probably sound like such a newb... Thanks

Also, you need to take the OS into account.
Win 7 Home can only talk to 16GB.
Win 7 Pro, and Win 8.1 (Home or Pro) and Win 10 can use much more.
