Best options for antenna to home wireless

A teacher friend lives near a school and was told he could use the school wireless as their primary internet source at home. From his house, the school is 400 feet away and my phone shows the school's wireless signal as -65db. There are no obstructions or trees between the home and school.

I'm looking for a cheap and reliable way he can pick up the school's wireless and then use for several devices at home. What do you think of these options? Please recommend hardware, especially how to go from the antenna coax output to the wireless bridge.

1. Wifi antenna -> wireless bridge -> router -> home wireless

2. Outdoor AP with antenna -> wireless bridge -> -> router -> home wireless

3. Convince school to add wifi repeater in window closer to home -> wireless bridge - router -> home wireless

4. What other options would make more sense?

You don't do it that way anymore. They make outdoor bridges built into the antenna enclosure and powered by PoE. You can look at engenius or ubiquiti both sell devices in about the $75 or less range that will work.
