I'm building a new computer from scratch and need help choosing a video card. I noticed the prices increased for GTX 1080, which was originally my first option and is now over my budget. What is the best card to buy nowadays for no more than $600? I've been eyeing both GTX 1070 ti and RTX 2070. Can anyone tell me pros and cons between those two?

Will be running with:
cpu - i7 9700k
mobo - asus z390
psu- egva 750w gold
ram - g.skill tridentz rgb series 16gb
cooling - le grand macho rt

Thanks.

Unless you find a killer deal on the 1070, I wouldn't even consider it. Not that it's a bad card, just that it's overly expensive as they're trying to get rid of old inventory. The 2070 Will outperform it in all situations.
