Question Best OS for RPI

Hey there, Recently I have purchased a RPI 4B (8GB). I would love to get suggestions on what will be the best OS which is smooth and optimised. Currently I use Raspberry Pi OS (64-Bit). My main workloads are just desktop browsing and watching YouTube.

'"The best" is very subjective measurement.
Get a couple of (fast) SD cards. Load a couple of OSs, and decide for yourself which one you like the most.

Even though you have an 8GB PI and a 64bit OS, I will recommend that the best OS is on an M.2 SSD and not an SD card. I get 10X performance on a SATA SSD on USB over an SD card. The USB to M.2 adapter you use is important. The first one I bought did not provide good performance.
