Hi there.

Recently noticed a drop in performance with my PC trying to play some newer games, and also older ones performing at a lower standard than before.

I want to buy I new PC but won't be able to afford that for a while - in the meantime, what would be the best part of my PC to upgrade in order to achieve a noticeable increase in performance with game (Specifically CSGO and other source titles)?

PC Manufacturer/System model: Advent, DT2111

Processor: i5-2320 @ 3.00GHz (4 CPUs).
Memory: 8GB
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6670
PSU: @230W
HD: 2 TB, 1.2TB free.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers in advance.

Hey, thanks for your replies. I've been thinking about upgrading my PSU for a while as it's very low atm and I realise I'll need a better one to run a better graphics card.

I wouldn't want to spend more than £150-170 on a graphics card. I've been running a 24 inch monitor on my 6670 for a while, is a monitor like this perhaps too much for the card I have?

If your older games are running worse than they were before on your PC, it could also be that the OS is getting crudded up. I would recommend running a malware scanner like malwarebytes and a system cleaner like CCleaner to see if that helps as well.
