Hello, I am currently trying to build a new computer. I am scrapping as much parts as possible from my current PC to use in the new PC. I need to know though the best parts for $300, and must have the best intel processor I can get in the budget, a mobo, a case, a PSU, and possibly a operating system (i can crack an operating system if I have to)

Very limited budged you have. Whatever you'll get for $300 you won't see that much of difference comparing whatever you have now with. Don't rush it, save yourself another $300 and then get the cheapest Intel Quad Core, 8 gb ram, 128 SSD, 1 TB HDD and some decent $200 GPU. All with existing case and PSU. That will last you another 3 years.

Oh forgot to mention, I have that i5 and a 750ti! I'm planning on upgrading to an r9 280 this holiday season, but the 750 ti and i5 are a pretty strong combo, just not the most efficient on newer games that require a strong GPU.

Edit: Skyrim, Ultra settings, 2k texture pack, and some other graphics mods run smoothly at 60 FPS on my system.

I would swap the PSU for one of these:

The CX series are manufactured by CWT and use cheap Samxon capacitors. For a little more, or for less, you could get a higher quality PSU.
