AV-Test has been heavily criticised for a new set of criteria, which has been accused of lowered standards. I would never use them, as is, for actual protection evaluation. I'd rather trust Dennis Labs, and they blatantly ignored me when asked to disclose their testing methods.

I'd say to use this for a guide on picking the best, minus the actual protection. I'd stick with AV-Comparatives for actual detection testing.
