Best PC Build for 1200$ (For VR)

I'm currently trying to build a PC for my girlfriend. She wants to get the Vive and I need to make sure it can run it at decent settings. I'm not sure what I should buy, but im sure I want to stick with Intel.

I would personally replace the seagate with a WD drive instead. As WD has better reputation when it comes to stability.
If your Windows copy uses a CD/DVD and not a USB, you need to spend 20$ extra for a CD/DVD reader.

Because it's only $20 more for it and can get a mild overclock even with the 212 EVO

A CPU is one of those things that can kind of be "future-proofed" since they have not been making great strides in performance increase. Whether this will change in the coming months or not remains to be seen, but I would feel pretty safe for a while with the 6600K. Plus you can overclock it when you need a little more juice.
