Can someone build me a gaming PC with Gtx 980 sli, i7 4790k and water cooling i dont care about price just as long as its under $4000NZ.
Will also need windows 8.1 and mouse keyboard headphones and moniters.
Could also be 970sli just whatevers most bang for buck

Solution
GD forum. I typed a fairly long post and then got "failed to process your request" when I posted it. Aaaaaaa that makes me mad when that happens.

Anyhow, I think this is what you want. This is one serious gaming rig and will play any current game at max settings on a single monitor at 1080. Unless there are games far more demanding than any I know about. You can pick your own headphones out since that's a choice mainly based on personal preference.

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($479.00 @ PC Force)
Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($335.00 @ PC Force)
Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series...
Then all you really need is a single 970, but going with a 980 will give you an edge for the future, especially if you bump the clock. You can always add a second card later if you find it's not quite keeping up with future releases or you add monitors. Or 4K. Right back with a build.

If, at some point down the road, there are games released that require more than this, you can always add another GPU or more RAM at that time, but I doubt you'll have any issues unless you add more monitors, or 4K monitors. If you add a 4k monitor and game on multiple screens with it, you'll probably need another 980 for SLI.

Solution
Yep. That board supports SLI, has plenty of slots for more cards and there are two more DIMM slots to add another 8GB of RAM later if you decide you need it. I doubt you will for some time, but you never know what the demands of gaming next year will be versus what they are today.

You know, I forgot the fracking cooler. It might come close to 4 G's now. I'll be right back. You sure you need water cooling. If you're not overclocking I see no reason for it. A really good air cooler works every bit as good as all but the most extreme liquid coolers. If you're ok with air or even if you feel you need water, I'll go add it to the build.

I'd go with one for now. Add more later if you want. Some people don 't like the multiple monitor gaming. It can be more distracting than just gaming on one monitor with more real estate. I might suggest going with a 27" monitor and a higher resolution if anything, but the monitor I included is a damn good one as is.

Couple of revised builds coming. This one is with a very, very good air cooler:
