I am looking into getting a stylish monitor for around £200. I'm looking at these, but cannot decide between them (they are all so good and have excellent reviews). For example the Dell has built in speakers (not a must, but useful and a pro in its favor), the LG is gorgeous and is good all round but it is only 24" in comparison (plus it's on sale at the moment) and the Samsung has a good native contrast ratio and is curved (also not a must, but I like curved screens).

I would be using the monitor for mainly gaming but also work and general computer use. Ideally I would like to have the largest, crisp monitor in my setup so 24" is probably the minimum for me. I have looked into ultrawide displays but I can't see myself using them due to the resolutions I regularly work with and can support.

I am not too bothered about the number of ports available (although I cannot complain) or speakers, as I have already mentioned, as I have a good speaker set up. Although I have been searching, I cannot find any 1440p monitors around this price that look as good as these ones listed. I would appreciate someone's opinion on these listed monitors and I am open to any more suggestions. Thank you guys, in advance!

Thank you very much, I have never seen a 4k screen at this price before! I will definitely be considering this.

From my original links, though, do you think the Dell or the LG screen is better? Not compared to the two displays you sent me, just comparing them to each other.

No doubt at all the lg has a better panel in my eyes.

You're comparing 27 to 24 inch though. & the Dell has a separate speaker block,with decent sound.

I wouldn't buy either with that Hanns-g 1440p knocking about at the same price though.

The 4K screen you've linked has two types: 4K UHD and 4K UHD HDR. What is the difference?

If you're connecting a 4k bluray player, xbox one x or ps4 pro definitely.

Just a Windows pc ?? Possibly but hdr support in Windows is still sketchy & in its infancy.

In theory a hdr panel is capable,of greater luminosity, contrast,brightness than a non hdr panel.

I've not seen the hdr version in the flesh though, only the non hdr one.

If the hdr one has the same general panel quality As the one I've seen then yes I'd say it's proably worth the extra bit of,cash

You still wouldn't be disappointed by the cheaper one though.

I think 1440p is best for me. The Hannspree screen seems to be quite a good buy and of decent quality.
