Best PCIe Video Card under $100

I am ready to add a video card. Any suggestions or advice for a card under $100?

The best card overall for under $100 is probably the Radeon HD 4850

If you're a die hard fan of nVidia, though, the best for under 100 is probably the GeForce 9800 gt

Keep in mind, though, that the 4850 is faster.

HD4850 512mb $109 on newegg or you can get the 1GB version for $119

or the 4770 which is just about as powerful as the 4850 but can overclock very well.

Although i agree the 4850 is a bit faster, there are some games where a Nvidia GTS250 will perform better. This one is $99.99 after rebate.

+1 for the 4850. OC it and you have a powerful card for about $100. in my experience they respond VERY well to volt modding. you can do a pencil mod in about half an hour including looking up how to online. Vdram helps alot due to the slower ddr3 the compared to the 4870s ddr5.

Btw, I went with XFX 9800GT. I couldn't resist the $71 refurb price at Newegg.
