Best Pentium CPU?

This may seem like a weird question but what is the best Pentium processor? The reason I ask is because I'm on a tight budget and some of them are about as good as an FX-4100 and cheaper. So, any suggestions?

It will age much faster than a newer CPU though, so you'll encounter slow down sooner rather than later.

How much will it slow down by? and when will it begin to slow down?
