Best performance RAM FX 8350 Asus M5A99FX pro R2.0

I tried to find a forum post that would just simply explain what kind of RAM would be the best with my CPU MoBo combo to no avail. If you have a link to one I would be glad to take it as well.

Right-o then! I have an Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 MoBo and the super fancy AMD FX 8350 CPU, and I have two simple questions.

1. Is it foolish of me to think that using all 4 slots on the board = better speed?
2. What frequency would be best to use? (ive seen a forum post saying 1866 and another saying 2133) and if at all possible could you give me a link to RAM that would fit your answer?

~side note, capacity isnt too much of an issue, 8gb will do just fine~

2x is better - less stress on the MC (memory controller) than 4 sticks, with your combo would suggest 1866/9 sicks, Look at the GSkill Snipers or Ripjaws X lines of DRAM, had the best luck with them and AMD rigs

I could do without the plastic (aluminum?) "sniper rifle" on the side of em but what can you do? It's on the QVL for my board so im happy. Thanks again, I'll get back to you in a week or so.

The Snipers are great sticks! They're my number 2 and were #1 till the Tridents were released, should love 'em
