Best performing rig from AMD

hi guys I have to change a htpc rig to a mainstream rig. This rig is for mainly use of Adobe master suite and creating CGI animations by students in MAYA, and for entry level game developing also, this is very urgent build, my people cant wait for bulldozer benchmarks. So can any one suggest me a good performing AMD processor & motherboard combo, only from AMD (cause these are cheap & best), motherboard should be able to add bulldozers too, already bought 8gigs of ram, 2tb hdd (that is enough for this rig). cm haf x cabinet and 750w psu.There is oc too. No need of ssd. and check this mainstream gpus http://www.pcworld.in/best-buys/top-5-mainstream-graphics-cards I am thinking to buy gts 450 but radeon 5770 is tempting me. what do you think. Every suggestion helps a lot . Please provide you rig details it will help more.thanks

You can go for any of the 6 Core processors if you want work horses from AMD. The question is will the programs you use, Maya and Adobe be optimized for hexa cores or quad cores.
Any AM3+ board will support bulldozers later on all though rumors state that the high end AM3 Boards will /may also end up supporting AM3+ CPUs. Of course the BIOS updates will be required.
You already bought 8Gigs of What RAM? and Why?
The choice you have given us is pretty wide.... you really need to narrow it down to a few things in particular. You also need to state a budget per machine.
And rig details can be checked in the Left hand column under "More Information"

1- if you're going to use it only for animation, rendering, 3d applications i recommend one of the ATI FirePro or nVidia Quadro series GPUs as these cards are designed to best benefit those applications but they are a little bit more expensive than regular GPUs.
2- if you're going to be gaming non of the cards you listed above is gonna perform well in games if you play at a high resolution ex:1080P
3- if you're going to be gaming and using graphics application so a strong GPU like HD 6950 will be your best choice.
4- if mostly gaming and not too much rendered multitasking then the Thuban 1090T and series CPU is not necessary as the Deneb 955/965BE's are a better option, per core performance the Deneb beats the Thuban but if you need more than a quad core CPU you have no option then.
5- do you ave any preference for Gigabyte, Asus, MSI ??? any 990X chipset will hold the Bulldozer when it comes out

actually i am replacing the board and processor only, all the other components are it's old rig parts.except the gpu. and that ram is ddr2 800 mhz, it is not important that board support for ddr2 cause if suggest a good board that uses only ddr3 i can buy ddr3 ram for that board, and this rig is not for my home use it is meant for my institution. thanks for the reply.and budget for board and processor is $250 to $350 only. And i heard that bulldozers 2nd gen processors release after 6months of bulldozers 1st gen release date, and for 2nd gen they are going to push socket FM2 boards. thanks.

unlock the x2 into a quadcore and that should see you through until bulldozer hits the market.

unlocking X2 to X4 is not a good idea, he might suffer from instability and a fault core, Unlocking them are by no means recommended and may be damaging or worse. Clearly one problem is the bad sensor. But on long term use its a very bad idea.

he is right to stick with a dual core until bulldozer is released and then go for a bulldozer procewssor, i would even say go for an athlon II dual core until bulldozer comes out!.

gaming and multi threaded applications doesn't require a Dual Core at all!.
Bulldozer will be more than just enough

Go for a Phenom II X4 945 (95w) and an HD 6850. Cool, quiet, and low power requirements. Will game really well.

1) The 970 + 1090T will equal to a bit over $250.
2) That's great, then you'll definitely want the 1090T.
3) Go for DDR3.

thanks everyone, I got fever, that's why didn't replied in last two days, as I said this rig for 3d rendering apps and here I am clearing a little confusion to all of you, this rig for my institution there students develops (generates) some 3d games, and this rig is for entry level students (future animators),

and my office people bought phenom II x6 1100t, and SABERTOOTH 990FX board thanks for replies.
