Hello Community!

So I feel like a complete noob at energy and power for asking this, but I'll go for it.

Is it okay for me to plug my PC into a power strip? Or would I need to plug it directly into the wall socket for full power advantage?

Thank you for your time!

Typical homes in the USA have 15 Amp circuit breakers. A high end PC under a heavy workload may draw around 4 Amps. Under normal workloads, it's more like 0.5 to 2 Amps. So, even with a couple of monitors, a printer, a router and desk lamp plugged into a power strip, you're not coming even close to flipping the breaker.
