Question Best place to put my WiFi antennas?

Hey everyone! After running into some issues with my old WiFi dongle I decided to purchase a new one... The Asus AC68 the PCI slot one, now I know it comes with a docking station to put my antennas on OR I can put the antennas connected to my card so behind the

Where is the best place to put these ? Or is there not a lot of difference

I find.....in my house....the higher the better.

I have my router up about 6 feet....and I have one machine....that's the furthest away from the router.....that gets a better connection with the wifi adapter up high as well.

So I have a USB extension cable that gets the adapter up near the ceiling.

Ahh that makes sense, I mean thinking about it, having my antennas connected to the card could get in the way of some wires so it's probably best for the time being to put the antennas on top of my pc until I find somewhere more suitable to put them
