Best place to sell graphics card?

Hello everyone, currently I have been trying to sell my Gigabyte G1 GTX 970 for a couple weeks now but have none of my friends either have the money or need it. Dont really wanna put it up on ebay or amazon because im not at all experienced with that, any suggestions?

Those are pretty much your only options..

Either find a friend or family member that wants it, or list it on Ebay/Amazon.
I use Ebay all the time and it's fairly easy to list things. Just remember they DO get a cut of the sale.

Provided you abide by the Rules of the Classifieds Forum, you can always try the Tom's Hardware - Classified Section.

Another option, provided you're not alone when the buyer comes to test it, would be your local Craigslist.

I'd just go with craigslist for selling electronics. Sale is final and no scammers a month later filing a false claim or wants a partial refund for some ridiculous reason. No shipping or fees. Sellers get shafted on ebay/paypal from my experience. Though Ebay would most likely be faster and get more money if you are lucky with a impulse bidding war.

Ebay.com is truly the best place to sell your GPu/parts and it is the easiest to navigate around too. I've bought and sold gpus from/on there and it's a breeze

The trick is not asking for too much. Many times I've seen people requesting prices greater than or equal to what you can get New from a store. What I usually do is.. before I post my listing... search for anything similar with similar specs... and determine who had the lowest price and beat it. It make take a while so you need to be patient. Someone could be interested but had to pay rent or car note with the check from the current pay period. I once had a lady told me she saw my ad but had to wait a while before contacting me.

Another good trick is to lower the price a tiny bit every week or two... You'll get it sold, eventually..

Final note... You chances of success are greatly improved if you keep the original packaging and cards/manuals/disks... and make sure you include lots of photos from different angles including the box and all accessories.
