So i need to find a way to store computer parts, i was just using the cardboard containers but my landlord, said that wont work so i am wondering will plastic containers work or is it too conductive is there like a plastic container but made of a non conductive material?

Is your landlord implying you're making a mess out of it?

So as not to have to spend money, I put the parts in cardboard boxes since I always seem to have boxes left over from buying other things. Inside the boxes I layer the parts, with pieces of thin cardboard(such as from a cereal box) between them. I've never had problems with parts not working due to static electricity.

So this has nothing to do with the PC parts, but rather just too much cardboard laying around.
Roaches will nest in cardboard boxes a LOT more than plastic.
