Best Plywood paint type for acrylic/metalic look.

This doesn't really fit the theme, but what would be the best type of paint to get a finish like the one shown, on a plywood type material.

(Ignore the LEDs) But a whiteish look.

A good interior wall paint should suffice I would think. If your using plywood I would buy a Filling Primer to give yourself a nice level surface to paint. Plywood inst really a nice to paint. How about using a 3/4 inch MDF material for the top?

Thanks, I think I may skip on the MDF, because the plywood sheet I am using as a desk feels more like a thick version of the MDF than plywood
