Question Best pocket/compact digital camera for landscapes and sports events?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to buy a compact/pocket camera to replace my iPhone’s camera, and have a better-quality dedicated camera for a change! I usually like taking landscapes/sunsets and sporting event shots, and have read that the Ricoh GRiii and Fujifilm X100V (and Vi) are all great cameras, but am looking to ideally spend no more than £500 (be that on a new or 2nd hand camera).

Does anyone have any recommendations apart from the ones mentioned that might suit my needs?

Many people looking for pocket cameras like the DJI Osmo pocket cameras and Minolta offers a similar low cost option. And the GoPro line of cameras are even smaller.
