Hey all,

As my current gpu (AMD HD6850) just died, I'm looking to get a new one, i took a look at the GTX 1050TI and the regular 1050 2GB, I'd be grateful if you could suggest any other alternatives, or just point out which one would be the most sensible to buy.

I also have 8 Gb DDR3 RAM
And an FSP Hexa 500w PSU

Solution
The GTX 1050 Ti would be ideal, faster than the RX-560 (in the same price range). Unless you can OC the 960T, anything faster would be wasted due to CPU bottleneck in all but the most GPU-limited games. I have my old Phenom II X4 960T OC'ed to 3.9GHz and it is doing well @ 1080p/60hz with minimum bottleneck using a RX-580.
Btw, the 960T has 2 disabled cores that may be usable if your motherboard has the unlock capability. Unfortunately, my 960T's 5th and 6th cores were both defective. System would not even boot.
