Hi everyone,

I bought used Lenovo Thinkcentre machine with m72e motherboard.

Reading the manual I've discovered that PCI e x16 slot has a 60w max. What is the best possible GPU for my configuration:

i7 3770
16 GB DDR3 RAM
SSD (boot) + HDD
dual 24' monitor
Win10

12V 18Amp = 216 watts only for the whole system ... yea could be the reason.

if you plan to change the powersupply then you can add any card you want. upto GTX 1080 ti . but make sure it fits , open the case and measure the max length of the card you can install. then get a card that can fit.

as for the power supply , get at least 500 watts power supply for GPU up to GTX 1080 . and 550 watts for GTX 1080...

From manual:
Slot 1: half-length, full-height, PCI Express® 2.0 x16 (60w max)

yes , but I still think it can work 75W .. but cant take the risk and tell you try it. I never saw X16 with 60 watts ...

anyways good luck

Is it possible that the 60 w limit caused by stock PSU?
